 We run the address through our fiber-locator platform, which shows:

• Which carriers have fiber in the building
• Which carriers are near-net (on the street but not yet pulled in)
• Distance to fiber routes
• Any known construction requirements

This eliminates the typical guesswork and tells us who’s actually viable.

Based on the map results, we identify the real players—usually 3–10 carriers depending on the market. 

 We go to each carrier’s quoting team or portal and request:

• Bandwidth options
• Term lengths
• MRC/NRC pricing
• Construction costs
• Install intervals
• Any incentives or promotions
  We also flag anything unusual (e.g., long builds, lack of redundancy, questionable equipment).

 When quotes come back, we normalize them—carriers all format quotes differently, so we translate everything into consistent, comparable data.
